The barn is finally fly-free in 3 steps!
Did you know that only 20% of flies are visible? The other 80% are preferably found in the manure as eggs and larvae! A fly is sexually mature after a few days and lays around 900 eggs over the next few days. 90% of the approx. 900 eggs continue to develop, so that 800 flies lay more eggs over the next few weeks! To effectively counteract this process, you should use our 3-step plan.
3-step plan:
Step 1: Larvae control
Step2: Fly bait against sexually mature adult flies
3rd step: Fly concentrate against sexually mature adult flies
Step 1: Larval control - control of pest larvae
To prevent the flies from multiplying rapidly, it is important to tackle the fly problem at the root and remove the fly larvae first. There are special products to control maggots that inhibit the growth of fly larvae by influencing the molting of the larvae. The fly's development cycle is interrupted as prevents pupation and the fly larvae die. The earlier a larvicidal product is applied when fly infestation increases, the lower the fly population will rise. Regular application and thorough distribution on the surface of the droppings are important for successful implementation. Important to know: 1 kg of droppings or residual feed is sufficient for the development of up to 10,000 maggots!
First treatment: approx. 4-5 days after droppings removal or storage
Second treatment: after approx. 2 weeks
Regularly: every 4-6 weeks
Step 2: Fly bait against adult flies - direct pest control
Fly baits consist of an attractant and a stomach poison for sexually mature adult flies. The bait is filled flat into small plastic trays or cardboard boxes and placed in places
