Warning/safety instructions for saddle girths

Saddle girths should be selected according to the horse's figure type so as not to restrict its movements. The choice of girth type, material, shape and length should be made individually for each horse. It is particularly important to ensure the correct length, with the strap buckles well above the elbow's range of motion. The girth length should be measured individually on the horse. If in doubt, seek professional advice.

When strapping and re-strapping, make sure that the strap is as loose as possible and only tightened as much as necessary. The correct position of the belt must always be ensured. A flat hand should fit easily between the horse's body and the girth at about elbow height. In addition, the straps of the saddle should ideally be guided vertically downwards from the saddle girth, without pulling forward or backward, and the girth should rest evenly on the breastbone. Check the horse regularly for pressure and rubbing areas.

In order to ensure the longevity of the materials and to ensure safe use for people and horses, the components of the belt must be regularly cleaned, maintained and inspected for possible defects. Only use the product if it is fully functional.
