Leimüller milk thistle seeds are a single feed material for horses, dogs, cats and birds. The seeds of the milk thistle naturally contain a high concentration of the plant substance silymarin. With 23% crude protein and 28% crude oils and fats they are exceptionally rich. In horse feeding, milk thistle seeds are a traditionally valued addition to the daily ration.

For dogs and cats, the small seeds are an energy-rich addition to the daily ration because of their high fat content. You mix them into the usual feed in small quantities. The seeds are cleaned several times and low in dust.

We supply the seeds whole. Whole seeds keep for longer because the oil they contain is not exposed. If you would like to mix them in more finely, you can crack or roll them immediately before feeding.
