SnailStop Fence Tape
Efficient slug control! SnailStop snail fence is the solution to keep snails away from the raised bed.
The SnailStop fence tape forms an insurmountable barrier for all snail species in the home garden. It consists of two parallel, electrically conductive contact strips. When trying to cross the fence tape, the snail establishes a connection between the two contact tapes, so that a small current flows through the snail fence for a short time. Due to the low fence voltage of 9 volts (block battery), the snails are not harmed. They only feel an unpleasant tingling sensation and are induced to turn around.
The self-adhesive fence tape can be easily and permanently fixed to wood, metal, plastic, stone, concrete, etc. If necessary, it is possible to shorten the fence tape. The extension of the snail fence is optionally possible with the help of an additional available fence tape in 10 m or 20 m, as well as the fence tape connectors.
No prior knowledge is required to connect the fence to the power unit. The fence tape can be connected and supplied with power using the contact clip on the power unit. Two control LEDs on the power supply unit ensure reliable monitoring of the battery status and the power supply. The battery lasts for a whole snail season thanks to the innovative pulse Control!
By means of bed connectors, which are available as accessories, several beds can also be operated with a single power unit. In this way, the snail fence can be extended to a maximum total length of 30 m.
