The Kerbl calf box offers a protected and well-thought-out space for the first weeks of your calves' lives. It provides plenty of fresh air while reliably protecting the animals from unpleasant drafts. Because the calves are housed individually, they are effectively shielded from harmful pathogens. The animal does not lie directly on the floor, but on raised slatted floors, keeping the lying area significantly warmer and drier. However, through a social contact opening in the side walls, the calf still has the opportunity to interact with its peers.

The construction of the box is designed for daily stable life. It consists of a sturdy, hot-dip galvanized metal frame and easy-to-clean PVC panels with a smooth surface for the side walls. The floor is equipped with a two-part, extremely grippy and slip-resistant GRP floor grate. This makes cleaning easier and offers the calf a secure footing. The two-part swing door is particularly useful for farmers who want to make their calf rearing practical. It helps with training them to use the teat bucket, and you can leave the box without disturbing the calf while it drinks. The door swings inwards and outwards and features a one-hand operated handle.

The box is also easy to handle when moving it around the stable. It has folding handles on the front, allowing you to move it easily. For longer distances, transport with pallet forks is possible. A chassis is available as an option if required.
