The vida carbon is a lightweight summer riding glove in a limited edition. The shape-retaining stretch backhand wraps around your hand without wrinkles, while the highly abrasion-resistant palm stands up to the reins hour after hour in the saddle.

What makes it special are the antistatic carbon threads in the high-tech fabric: they make the glove far more hard-wearing without turning it stiff, so your rein feel stays intact. The 4D-Stretch adapts to the length and width of your hand, and extra reinforcements sit at every point that guides the reins. The honeycomb texture on the palm grips even damp leather, and the touchscreen-compatible fingertips let you use your phone with the gloves on. Add UV protection, fast drying and machine washing up to 30 °C - at 40 g per pair you barely notice them.

Questions & answers:

Which size do I need?
Measure the circumference of your hand across the knuckles and leave the thumb out. The circumference in inches gives you the size: around 20 cm equals size 8, around 23 cm size 9.

What do the carbon threads do?
They prevent static build-up and make the fabric considerably more hard-wearing. Because they are finely woven in, the glove stays thin and you keep your feel for the reins.

Can I use my phone with the gloves on?
Yes. The fingertips are touchscreen-compatible, so you can film, take a call or stop an app without pulling the gloves off.

How do I wash the gloves?
In the machine at up to 30 °C, then let them air dry. Tumble dryers, fabric softener and bleach attack the grip coating.
