An energizer's fundamental job is to make sure animals respect their fenced-in area and always keep their distance from the boundary. That's why a reliable fence energizer is the heart of every electric fence. Depending on the animal species, fence length, or vegetation, the energizer needs to be matched to the corresponding requirements.
The Agrarzone A 5000 battery-powered energizer for electric fences impresses with a max. stored energy of 7.4 Joule (max. output energy 5 Joule) and is ideal for long pasture fences with or without vegetation. This extremely powerful, battery-operated 12 volt fence energizer is ideal for mobile use and can also be used for robust animals such as sheep, cattle, etc. The perfect battery-powered fence energizer for mobile animal enclosures!
Two separate LED indicator lights always show the current fence status, so you always have full control over fence voltage and battery.
The unit should be started up without the fence and earth connected. When connecting the 12 volt battery, be sure to observe the correct polarity. As soon as the fence indicator light blinks green, the unit is fully operational. If the fence light does not blink, check the polarity of the 12 volt connection cable to the battery. When operating with a mains adapter (matching item no. 2947), first remove the protective cap from the socket located centrally on the side.
This unit has three switch settings:
- O = OFF
- I = reduced current draw and output energy (=50%)
- II = maximum output energy and current draw (=100%)
With the switch on the side, you can choose between two power levels. Setting the unit to I reduces the current draw and output energy by 50 percent, running the fence at 2.5 Joule, allowing you to save on electricity costs. When the switch is set to II, the fence energizer runs at full power, delivering 5 Joule of output energy.
