The BUSSE Fly Mask FLY COVER PRO GAP II reliably protects your horse's eyes, ears and nostrils from irritating insects. With a fixed nostril guard and generous eye protection, it offers comprehensive coverage without restricting comfort – ideal for the paddock, field or open stable.
The eye protection is made from close-meshed net fabric with plenty of room around the eyes, so your horse's vision stays unrestricted. The head and jaw areas are made of lightweight yet durable 3D mesh material and close securely with two wide Velcro fasteners. The ears are protected with soft, elastic polyester/polyurethane material that offers flexibility and comfortable wear. A cut-out for the forelock ensures a perfect fit, all edges are trimmed with soft fleece, and the neck area is elasticated to avoid rubbing.

How do I find the right size?
Measure your horse's head circumference and compare it to the size chart (Shetty to XFULL). A correct fit is essential so the mask doesn't slip and vision stays clear.
Can the fly mask be worn all day?
Check the fit regularly and inspect the coat and skin for rubbing, especially in group turnout with other horses.
Where is this mask best used?

A fly mask has to fit well to be able to help. Otherwise damage may occur. The fit must fit the horse/pony's head. You can make a final adjustment using any setting options on the product. Even with an optimally fitted fly mask, the fit must be checked regularly, conscientiously and professionally and corrected if necessary. If the fly mask slips, vision can be limited or lost. For the horse, a flight animal, this can lead to panic and cause accidents. The ideal seat can be jeopardized by, for example, rubbing in the head area or conspecifics kept in groups. The use of fly masks is not recommended in such individual cases. Check the fur and skin regularly for chafing. Even with optimally fitting fly masks, these can be caused by foreign substances (e.g. stones, insects) between the mask and the horse. The risk of skin irritation increases due to sweat. Clean the mask regularly.
