Rein and hand ends are made from quality leather, so the reins buckle and sit like proper leather reins rather than a rubber tube. Martingale stops are fitted as standard, which means you can ride with a running martingale straight away. The reins are available in black and brown.

That is what they are there for. The structure gives your fingers something to hold when a smooth rein would start to slip through.

Can I use a running martingale with them?
Yes. Martingale stops are already fitted, so the martingale rings cannot slide down towards the bit.

Are the grips uncomfortable to hold?
No. The rubber is soft and the grips are shaped so the rein sits comfortably in a closed hand over a long ride.
