Mobile Paddock: Flexible Turnout for Shows and Trail Rides

Even far from home, your horse should be able to stand outside calmly and stretch its legs. Here you will find mobile fencing systems and paddock sets.

Mobile Paddock: Turnout You Can Take Along

A Mobile Paddock goes up quickly and packs away just as fast. It is ideal for shows, trail rides, riding camps or as a temporary divider in the field. We offer fencing systems in Basic and Premium versions with single posts and carry bags, plus rechargeable batteries, a mobile charger, connecting cables, car charging cables and a show paddock set measuring 7 x 7 m.

Well looked after on the road

At shows and on trail rides, your horse should not have to spend all its time between classes or overnight in a stable or tied to the trailer. In a mobile paddock it can move, graze and relax. You simply push the posts into the ground, and the conductor material is either built in or quickly hooked on. With carry bags, the whole system travels neatly in the trailer or car boot.

Power without a socket

To keep the paddock live far from the yard, you need a rechargeable battery or battery energiser and a suitable charger. With the mobile charger and the car charging cable, you can top up the battery from your vehicle while you are away. Connecting cables let you join several elements into a larger turnout area. Before each use, check that the battery is full and that the voltage reaches the fence.

Frequently asked questions

Is a mobile paddock suitable for every horse?
Your horse should already know and respect an electric fence. It is best to practise setting it up at home first, so your horse can get used to it in familiar surroundings. On unfamiliar ground, it helps if you stay nearby at the start.

How big should a show paddock be?
Your horse should be able to turn around, roll and take a few steps comfortably. A 7 x 7 m paddock is a common size for one horse at shows. If two horses share it, allow for more space.

How do I charge the battery on rides lasting several days?
The easiest way is a mobile charger with a car connection, as long as a vehicle is nearby. On trail rides without a support vehicle, a second fully charged battery is worth having. That way your paddock stays safely live on the second night too.

Mobile paddocks for life on the road

Whether at a show, on a trail ride or at riding camp, a mobile paddock gives your horse its own turnout area far from home. The Basic and Premium fencing systems consist of lightweight push in posts with built in conductor material and can be set up in just a few minutes. Packed into their carry bags, they take up very little room in the trailer. Power comes from a rechargeable battery and energiser, which you can top up on the move using the mobile charger and car charging cable. With connecting cables and single posts, you adapt the size to the space available. The 7 x 7 m show paddock set is a tried and tested choice for competition weekends. Between classes your horse can move, graze and stay relaxed. It is a good idea to practise setting it up once at home beforehand.
