A Heated Base for Cold Days: Kerbl Heated Base Superior 2.0
The Kerbl Heated Base Superior 2.0 supports the water supply for hens and quail when temperatures drop. You simply stand the poultry drinker on the plate – 22 watts of heat output warm it from below so the birds keep drinking through the winter.
It runs on 24 volts via the 30 watt power supply included for a 230 volt socket. The PU insulation directs the heat upwards instead of into the ground, and the cold-resistant plastic housing together with protection rating IPX4 is built for the poultry house. Non-slip feet and anti-slip strips keep plate and drinker where you put them.

Poultry drinkers with a base diameter of up to 31 cm. The anti-slip strips on top hold the drinker in place.
Do I need a special power connection?
No. The power supply goes into an ordinary 230 volt socket, while the plate itself works on harmless 24 volts.
May the plate stand outdoors?
It is splash-proof to IPX4 and built for the poultry house and sheltered outdoor spots. The power supply belongs somewhere dry.
