The heavy cast iron pump from Ferroniundnbsp;can pump 150 or 280 l/min depending on the mode and is ideal for use in agriculture.

The water PTO pump mt300 is a heavy cast iron pump with PTO connection and safety chain for safe attachment to the tractor. The water pump is extremely robust and suitable for professional agricultural use. With the PTO water pump "mt 300" you acquire a high-quality, self-priming cast iron pump with PTO connection and chain for secure attachment to the tractor. This quality product "Made in Italy" by Ferroni helps you to transport water easily and comfortably.

Depending on the settings, the large Ferroni pump and pumping capacity is 150 to 280 l/min. The ml20 water pump with PTO drive is made of sturdy 21.0 kg cast iron and can be easily attached to the shaft connection (1 3/8") of the tractor or tow tractor. An additional coupling flange also allows it to be mounted on the cultivator. The additional safety chain prevents slipping.

With the PTO pump mt 300undnbsp;you can clean machines, trailers etc. with high pressure and also wash them (also with soap). You can pump around water or fill ponds, irrigate or fertilize arable land or apply herbicide. On the suction side, the MT 300 has a connection of 1 1/2" IT / Ø 40 mm, the pressure hose has Ø 19 mm. The PTO pump rotates at a maximum of 700 rpm and has an output of 7.5 kw/10 HP.

Transfer

If you want to pump fresh or waste water, you must use a self-priming pump (also often called a garden pump). A self-priming pump, like the Göbel mt 300, has both a suction hose and a discharge hose. With the self-priming pump, the suction hose with the floor basket is placed in the water source, so that the water is absorbed into the pump via the suction hose. The water is then discharged via the pressure hose. When weighing, make sure that the filter is at least 20 cm below the surface.

Watering/Irrigation

For the irrigation of your plant, field or garden, you can opt for the water PTO pump. Garden pumps are available in a wide variety of designs, the biggest differences being in the delivery height, suction depth and delivery rate. The deeper the pump has to suck in, the more water pressure is lost. The mt 300 has a higher irrigation pressure compared to the ml 20 and can handle approx. 100 l/min more.

Filling the basin

To fill a pond or swimming pool, a water pump is required that can process fresh water and transport water under high pressure. A garden pump is normally used for this purpose.

AttentionFor the ml 20 and mt 300 pumps it is absolutely forbidden to close the liquid jet during normal pump operation. This increase in pressure of the liquid inside the pump would damage the pump and pose a great danger to the user.

When operating the water PTO pump, avoid operating it dry (without liquid, except in the filling phase) and with liquids containing abrasive substances such as sand. Do not pump drainage liquids and drainage water

Application note:

1. Check the correct installation before operation
2. Make sure that the filter at the end of the suction hose is at least 20 cm below the surface
3. Pressure line must be connected correctly
4. Insert the shaft slowly to avoid breaking the chain at the hooking point and the pump casing
5. Reach the desired speed step by step: If the pump has difficulty filling, increase the speed and then reset it to the desired value
6. If the problem persists, the bottom valve must be inserted, the hose must be immersed well in the water or the filter must be cleaned
7. Keep persons and animals away from the tractor during the starting phase
8. Sudden acceleration or deceleration of the feed shaft must be avoided
9. After using the pump, it should be cleaned with clean water if it has been used with other liquids
10. The pump should then be switched off with the openings facing downwards to allow the residual water to flow out

Too important: Insert approx. 0.05 litres of lubricating oil through the openings and close them with the protective caps provided. Lubricate everything evenly with one or two turns, after which the water pump can be shut down for a longer period of time.
