Deuka laying grain is a high-quality supplementary feed especially for laying hens from laying maturity. The balanced ingredients of the laying hen feed ensure the supply of the hens and thus form the basis for eggs of the highest quality. The chicken feed in nutrient-dense pellet form prevents selective feed intake and thus ensures an even supply of nutrients for all birds in the flock.
The high protein, amino acid and calcium density promotes strong eggshell formation. The mineral also increases the animals' bone stability. Added vitamins, trace elements and minerals support the supply of the poultry and lay the foundation for species-appropriate development and laying activity.
The laying hen feed is optimally suited for subsequent feeding after the rearing phase of the hens. It is offered in a 2:1 ratio with grain feed (or cereals) and thus results in a complete, optimally structured complete feed.

Feeding recommendation:
Feed at a ratio of 2:1 with a grain feed or cereal two weeks before the start of and during the laying period. Towards the end of the laying period (shortly before moulting) and also generally with older laying hens, supplementary feeding of oyster shells in a separate feed container can be useful.
Ideally, laying grain should be fed in the morning before the laying period and grain feed in the evening. The daily requirement for a modern laying hen (hybrid with approx. 1.5 kg body weight) is approx. 120 grams per bird per day. This means 80 g laying grain plus 40 g grain feed per bird and day. Always provide fresh drinking water.
