The uvex exxential III Mips mat riding helmet is built for riders who want maximum safety whether hacking out, training or competing. It combines the lightweight Inmould construction with the proven Multi-Directional Impact Protection System (MIPS), developed in Sweden. A movable second shell between the inner padding and outer shell protects your brain from dangerous rotational forces in an angled fall, significantly reducing the risk of head and brain injuries.
The EPS inner layer and polycarbonate outer shell are inseparably bonded, delivering high impact resistance at a mere 430 g. The ergonomic design with a low-cut shell at the back of the head adds extra rear impact protection, while the practical ponytail cut-out makes riding with long hair far more comfortable. Thanks to the uvex 3D IAS system and the infinitely adjustable FAS strap, the helmet adapts precisely to your head shape – ideal for daily use in the yard, on the trail or in the show ring. The anatomically shaped uvex monomatic closure opens and closes with one hand.
