The Waldhausen Safe-Gum rubber safety bands equip your horse rug fasteners with a reliable breaking point. If your horse gets caught up in its rug, the rubber breaks instead of the rug or your horse getting hurt. The set of 18, mixed, is enough for several rugs and ideal for stable and field use.

The bands are simply stretched between the fastener ends and reliably break at approx. 50 kg of load. This keeps the rug intact and saves on costly repairs. Thanks to frostproofing down to -20°C, the bands work reliably even in the depths of winter – a must for every stable yard. Handy tip: the carabiner version can also be used on the stable headcollar, so your horse can free itself more easily if it gets startled while tied up.
