This heating cable has an integrated frost protection thermostat (switch-on temperature approx. +5 ° C, switch-off temperature approx. +13 ° C) and is not suitable for heating pipes. For additional insulation do not insulate the thermostat!

What should be considered with 230 V heating cables:
- Always install the heating cable at the bottom of the pipe
- Water pipe must be earthed
- 230 V heating cables are ready to plug in and connect to a power supply with circuit breaker (RCCB 30 mA)
- Heating cables must not be shortened, already ordered in the correct length
- Rest lengths can be wrapped in turns around the pipe
- Do not bend the heating cable and set the max. Note bending radius of approx. 50 mm
- Heating cables can be attached to the pipe with insulating tape or with aluminum tape
- When used on plastic pipes, the pipe must be wrapped with aluminum tape before laying the heating cable
- Insulate the pipeline and the heating cable with insulation of min. 13 mm
- Install the thermostat of the heating cable in the coldest position of the pipe
- Thermostat may only be moderately insulated
- Do not use 230V heating cables in the biting area of ??animals
- Installation must be carried out in accordance with VDE0100 by a qualified specialist
- Do not mount unprotected in the bite area of ??animals - use only 24 volt heating cables! Heating cable must not be shortened!
