The beris Tandem with Tongue Port Bar is a specialist bit for horses that react sensitively to conventionally shaped mouthpieces. Its distinctively flattened port gives the tongue optimum room, and many horses respond with noticeably improved suppleness and increased chewing.

It is also well suited to horses that play with their tongue, as the port effectively prevents the tongue from sliding over the bit. This makes the Tandem an excellent choice for horses that head-shake or resist under pressure from traditional bits. Ridden with a single set of reins, it creates even pressure across the nose, lower jaw branches and poll, with a slight lifting effect on increased rein pressure.
