Striped sunflower seeds have a lower oil content than black sunflower seeds and are suitable for nutrient-rich year-round feeding of finches, tits, sparrows & wild animals e.g. squirrels!
Leimüller striped sunflower seeds are a popular single food for grain eaters, they have a strong, short beak. Compared to black sunflower seeds, the striped seeds do not have as high an oil content and are somewhat larger-grained. Due to the lower amount of healthy, unsaturated fatty acids, they are an excellent source of energy throughout the year.
Sunflower seeds also contain important ingredients such as essential amino acids, iron, copper fluorine and important vitamins (B vitamins, vitamins A and E). In addition, calcium, magnesium, carotene and other minerals & trace elements contribute to sunflower seeds being very healthy.
The high-quality single feed is carefully produced in the traditional mill Leimüller in Austria. Strict quality control and multiple careful cleaning in the production facilities give this product the necessary quality to accompany wild birds through the year healthy and strengthened.

Extra purified food quality is sometimes used in the feed mixes (e.g. linseed, sunflower seeds hulled, rolled oats, sunflower seeds striped). Other critical products (e.g. yellow millet) are checked at the supplier's and selected using a special cleaning process (colour sorting).
