No. The earlier model runs on 6 V, while this panel is built for the 12 V system of the Evolution 2.0.
Do I still need a battery?
Yes. The panel recharges the 12 V battery of the feeder, it does not replace it. Battery and feeder are available separately or together as a complete set.
Where do I mount the panel?
On a sunny tree or post with the ball-joint mount. The connection cable runs from there to the feeder, so no extra wiring is needed.
