The exxeed classical is the all-rounder of the uvex exxeed range: a timeless Alcantara look, no fashion frills, just a helmet you put on for hacking out in the morning and for the arena in the evening. Underneath works a robust hardshell shell built from a rigid plastic outer shell and a light EPS core.

It is tested to DIN EN 1384:2023 and therefore approved for German and Austrian competitions. A secure fit comes from the uvex 3D-IAS system, which adjusts width and height separately, plus an adjustable Y-divider on the synthetic leather straps. The uvex monomatic buckle can be operated with one hand, even in gloves. The continuous ventilation system guides warm air out to the rear instead of trapping it under the shell. With five sizes from 52 to 61 cm, the classical covers the widest span in the family.

Is the helmet approved for competition?
Yes. It is tested to DIN EN 1384:2023, the current European standard for riding helmets.

How do I find the right size?
Measure your head circumference horizontally above the ears and about one centimetre above the eyebrows. The value in centimetres matches the size marking: 52-55, 54-56, 56-58, 57-59 or 59-61.

How does the classical differ from the elegance?
Both use the same hardshell technology. The classical comes in a quiet Alcantara look and in five sizes, while the elegance has a glitter top with a chrome frame.

When do I have to replace the helmet?
After every hard fall or impact on the shell, even if nothing is visible from the outside. The EPS core deforms permanently on impact and no longer offers reliable protection.
