Burgon & Ball Sheep Shears SuperShears 6.5 Inch with Pouch

A Clean Cut Through the Fleece: Burgon & Ball SuperShears 6.5 Inch

The Burgon & Ball SuperShears are sheep shears built for professional hand shearing. The 6.5 inch blade is forged and ground on both sides, so it parts the fleece evenly instead of tearing at it.

The double bow construction closes softly, and rubber stops absorb the shock on your wrist – something you notice on a long shearing day. The white low-friction grip sits steady in the hand even when it gets sweaty.

Questions & answers:

What are the rubber stops for?
They catch the impact when the shears close. Without them the shock goes straight into your wrist – across a whole flock that makes a difference.

What does ground on both sides mean?
Both cutting edges are sharpened, not just one. That gives a cleaner cut and the shears can be resharpened.

Do they handle a thick fleece?
Yes. The forged blades are built for demanding shearing work and different types of fleece.
