This heated scarf by ELT warms precisely the back of the neck – the spot where draughts in the stable and while riding are least welcome. A slim heating element with three heat settings sits in the neck section and runs off a standard 5 V power bank in the inner pocket.
During early morning feeding and mucking out, on the lunge ring or at a show, your neck stays reliably warm. The power button sits at the bottom left, and the chosen setting is shown by colour: blue for 45 °C, white for 50 °C and red for 55 °C. On the lowest setting a 5000 mAh power bank lasts around four and a half hours.

Which power bank does the heated scarf need?
A standard power bank with a 5 V USB output and 5000 mAh. The 7.4 V set for the ELT heated socks and gloves does not work here – the scarf runs on 5 V.
How long does the warmth last?
With a 5000 mAh power bank around 4.5 hours at 45 °C, roughly 3 hours at 50 °C and about 2 hours on the highest setting at 55 °C.
Can I wear the scarf while riding?
Yes. The battery sits in a zipped pocket and stays in place even when you are moving.
