The Kerbl slow feeding net for round bales is stretched over the hay or feed bale, encouraging your horses and cattle to eat more slowly and thoroughly. This supports a more natural feeding behaviour and helps reduce feed waste in the hay rack.
The small mesh size means animals have to work for every mouthful, which extends feeding time and helps avoid long gaps between meals – contributing to improved digestion. The reinforced edge stops animals tearing the net off the bale, and the included rubber cord keeps it securely fixed to the hay rack. The net can optionally be used with a Kerbl square feeder frame.
