Calzogol Bolus: The Calcium Bolus for a Strong Start to Lactation

The Calzogol Bolus from Kerbl is a dietetic mineral feed for dairy cows to reduce the risk of milk fever around calving. Cows with an optimal calcium supply start lactation better, are healthier and give more milk.

Each bolus provides 45 g of fast and slow available calcium plus 40,000 I.U. of vitamin D3. Calcium sources with different release rates supply the cow evenly over a longer period. As the bolus contains no corrosive calcium chloride, it is very well tolerated by the mucous membranes – without irritating the mouth, oesophagus or rumen. Application with the applicator is simple and economical, as one bolus per administration is usually sufficient.
