The H-TRAP horsefly trap keeps aggressive horseflies away from horses, cattle and other grazing animals. Its black ball heats up in the sun and moves in the wind, so horseflies mistake it for a large animal and are lured in without any chemicals or electricity.

When the horseflies try to leave, they fly straight up into the funnel and collection container, from which they cannot escape. Placed outdoors between damp areas and your animals, a single trap covers up to 10,000 m² (around five horses) for real peace on the pasture.

How does the H-Trap work without chemicals?
The black ball heats up in the sun and imitates an animal. Horseflies are attracted by heat and colour, rise into the funnel and are trapped.

What do I fill the collection container with?
Simply use soapy water. Check the trap weekly and top it up when needed.

When and where should I set it up?
As early as April, in a sunny, open spot near damp areas between the wet zones and your animals.
