The HK Calf Puller with the 2020 mechanism ensures even, gentle transmission of force to the tube and calving cord. Three hooks allow the calving cords to be attached so that both alternating and equal pull are possible during the birth.
The wide plastic head and the stable, triple-adjustable steel clamps ensure good adaptation and a slip-resistant seating on the animal. The calf puller consists of a stable, thick-walled, galvanised steel tube, while the mechanism itself is made entirely of lightweight aluminium. Vets recommend pulling alternately until the shoulder enters the mother's pelvis, then switching to equal tension to protect the pelvis.
