The Tubbease Hoof Sock was developed in New Zealand to give horses with problem hooves, such as sole ulcers, a breathable yet protective treatment aid. The supplied hook-and-loop strap allows quick, secure attachment to the horse's leg without bandages or tape.
Air can escape upwards inside the sock, so no hot, humid climate builds up and the hoof keeps its natural strength. The rubber-coated base reliably keeps outside moisture out while holding the treatment solution against the hoof. This makes Tubbease ideal for treating abscesses, thrush, hoof injuries and cracks. Important: Tubbease is intended for short-term use only, while the horse is confined or supervised.
