The ColostroStart colostrum management system from Kerbl lets you build up a stock of high-quality colostrum – ideal if the first milk after birth is of poor quality or insufficient quantity, as is often the case with heifers.

The 4-litre aluminium pouches are easy to fill, can optionally be pasteurised, frozen and reheated without any problems. A documentation field on each pouch lets you note the cow number, date and colostrum quality so you always keep track. To feed, simply screw on the drinking teat or drencher probe – the pouches are designed for single use for maximum hygiene.
