Water Level Drinking Valve: Constant Water Level for Piglets and Farrowing Pens
The Water Level drinking valve from Rotecna keeps a specific water level constant in a trough, tank or similar container. It is especially suited to freshly weaned piglets, which learn to drink more easily when offered a visible water level, as well as farrowing pens where water must always be present in the trough.
Like a float valve, this valve maintains a constant water level, but cleaning is far easier, since the valve housing sits around 1.0 m above the water level. It works by vacuum acting on a rubber membrane that blocks water flow; an integrated closing mechanism allows each valve to close individually. It's designed for mounting on horizontal pipes and can also be closed with a simple handle.
