The Agrarzone N 3500 is a mains electric fence energiser for 230 V operation that you connect directly to the socket in the stable or at the farmyard. With 5,5 joules of stored energy it powers long electric fences and electric netting for horses, cattle, sheep, goats and also keeps wild boar at a distance.
Because the energiser runs on mains power, you do not have to change a battery or recharge one. The 3,5 joules of pulse energy on the fence make sure the shock stays noticeable even with light to medium vegetation. The LED display shows you at a glance whether fence voltage and earthing are right.

Questions & answers:
Is the N 3500 also enough for sheep and cattle in winter coat?
Yes. For animals with thick coats at least around 4.000 V should be on the fence, for horses about 2.500 V is enough. The N 3500 still delivers 5.700 V under load, but check the voltage regularly with a fence tester anyway, especially at the end of the fence.
What do 5,5 joules and 3,5 joules mean?
5,5 joules is the energy the energiser stores for every pulse, and 3,5 joules of that actually reach the fence. This pulse energy determines how strong the shock remains even with vegetation. The voltage alone says little about it.
How much electricity does the energiser cost in continuous use?
The N 3500 draws 7 W and uses a good 61 kWh a year running around the clock. At 35 cents per kWh that is around 21 euros a year, with no batteries or rechargeable batteries needed.

Funzionale e adatto allo scopo, cavo di collegamento al recinto ottimo, unica pecca il cavo di terra molto corto, potrebbe essere un po’ più lungo anche se è facilmente rimpiazzabile con un normale cavo elettrico.
