Thanks to a high tip temperature of 700 °C, the Buddex heats up in just 4 seconds. The heating phase only starts once the tip is pressed against the horn bud, so there's no fully heated shaft and therefore no burn risk for you as the user. The battery-operated design means no trailing cables and full freedom of movement, while single-handed operation leaves your other hand free to keep the calf steady. Best results come from treating calves within the first few weeks of life, while the horn buds are still small.
