AKO Pulse Flash – visual fence control for your electric fence

The AKO Pulse Flash gives you an instant visual check of your electric fence voltage, no separate meter required. This fence tester flashes green with every fence pulse, so you can tell at a glance whether your fence is still stock-proof – perfect for daily checks on paddocks and pastures.

If the fence voltage drops below 3000 volts, for example due to vegetation on the fence or storm damage, the flashing stops immediately, showing you a fault without a long search. Placing it at several points along your fence gives you convenient visual monitoring during the day as well. Fastening and electrical contact are made directly on the conductor material – no batteries needed.

AKO expert tip: Place the Pulse Flash at the end of your fence system. This lets you check at a glance whether the 3,000 V minimum stock-safe voltage is reaching the end of your fence and therefore your whole system.

FAQ:

What does it mean when the Pulse Flash stops flashing?
If fence voltage drops below 3000 volts, flashing stops, indicating vegetation, a faulty connection or poor earthing is reducing the fence voltage.

Does the Pulse Flash need a battery?
No, it draws its power directly from the fence pulse and requires no battery.

Where should I place the Pulse Flash on the fence?
Mounting it at the end of the fence system is most effective, as this lets you check the voltage across the entire system.
