This sheep fence starter set contains everything new sheep owners need to fence their sheep safely: sheep net, electric fence device, fence tester and much more. Set up quickly & get started straight away!
Sheep are among the animals that are difficult to fence because they have a thick, dense layer of wool that conducts light electrical impulses poorly. The current does not penetrate the wool and the animals feel the electric shocks little or not at all. To prevent sheep from escaping, a high-impact electric fence device is needed in combination with a special grazing net for sheep.
We have put together our comprehensive Agrarzone sheep fence complete set especially for fencing in flocks of sheep. The complete set makes it easy for new sheep owners to set up a sheep fence that is safe for herding, because the set contains everything needed for fencing: 50 m sheep net, strong 230 V electric fence unit, fence tester, connection cable and much more. The sheep fence can be erected easily, quickly and without any further equipment and is ready for use immediately.
The sheep fence is particularly herd-proof thanks to the extremely powerful N 3500 electric fence unit. Thanks to its 230 V power supply, the fence unit is perfectly suited for use at specific locations and, in addition to providing controlled access, also serves as protection against wild animals.
The included 50 m sheep net is 90 cm high and is held by 14 plastic stakes with 2 points. This double tip provides more stability in earthy & sandy soils compared to a single tip. Of the nine plastic strands, the top eight are live. The bottom strand is not live so as not to interrupt the flow of current through grasses. The sheep net has particularly narrow meshes that make it even more difficult for your sheep to escape. If necessary, you can easily extend the pasture net with other nets. Optimum current flow is also ensured when several electronic nets are strung together up to a maximum length of approx. 450 m (without vegetation).
The comprehensive complete set is supplemented by a fence tester for checking the fence voltage. Also included in the set is a warning sign for the fence, because pasture fence owners must point out their electric fence for safety reasons. All necessary connection cables and two premium ground stakes are of course also included.
