This pond fence kit keeps herons, otters and other pond predators away from your fish. It contains an electrifiable otter net, 50 m long and 50 cm high, the matching DUO 1500 energiser and all the accessories you need to set it up.

The energiser runs either on 230 V mains power or a 12 V battery (not included), so you can protect your pond even where there is no socket nearby. The net has stainless steel conductors and a non-live bottom strand, which reduces voltage loss on damp ground at the water's edge. The tight mesh stops even young animals, and the white/blue colour makes the fence easy for wildlife to see.

Questions & answers:

Does the fence also work against herons?
Yes. Herons usually walk into the water from the bank. A fence right at the edge of the pond blocks their way.

Do I need a power socket nearby?
No. The energiser also runs on a 12 V battery. The battery is not included in the kit.

Can I extend the fence?
Yes, with additional nets. The DUO 1500 can power electric nets up to a total length of approx. 250 m.
