The energy of the cartridge is transferred to the bolt, which penetrates the skull and triggers a pressure wave that results in immediate, safe stunning of the animal. Thanks to its solid, nickel-plated construction and reinforced springs, the device remains reliable and durable even under tough daily use, while producing minimal recoil.
