Locust Bean is a healthy addition to the diet of horses, dwarf rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs & other rodents due to its many special properties. This dried and crushed legume is full of starch, protein, iron, manganese, magnesium, calcium, but also vitamins of the B group and dietary fibre ensure good health. Because of its special taste of liquorice and a natural sweetness, Locust Bean is eagerly eaten by animals.
But it is not only the taste that makes this individual feedstuff so good; because of the many dietary fibres and anti-inflammatory substances, Locust Beans can help to soothe the organs and compensate for nutrient deficiencies. The fruits can stimulate gastrointestinal activity with simultaneous regulating effect and anti-diarrhoeal properties. The cut Locust Beans fruits are appetising and provide a shiny coat.

Feeding instructions:
You can feed the cut pods as a treat as needed or mix them with the basic feed, depending on the type of animal.
Horse: As a rule: approx. 25-100 grams per day / animal (depending on how much your horse weighs).
- Ponies and small horses with a body weight of approx. 200-490 kg: approx. 25-75 g.
- Big horses with a body weight of about 500-700 kg: approx. 75-100 g
Rabbit: 1-2x a week 1 tsp.
- Sprinkle over the daily feed ration or mix into the fresh bedding.
- Can also be stuffed in hay rolls, feed balls, grass nests or in wooden tunnels with hay

5% crude protein, 2% crude fat, 7.4% crude fibre, 2.3% crude ash
Storage:
Store the feedstuff hygienically, dry, dark and cool. Protect from direct sunlight.
