The AKO tape coupling connects your energiser safely to the fence tape or links several tape rows together. This screwable coupling made from three stainless steel clamping plates creates a mechanically and electrically flawless connection for tapes up to 40 mm wide – with no risk of rust.

Connecting the individual conductor rows keeps a constant voltage across the whole fence line. Fit connecting cables at regular intervals of 200–400 m, for example at the fence start, fence end or corners. Place the coupling close to a fence post so the conductor material doesn't sag. A practical tip: always join fence tapes with a proper coupling rather than tying a knot – a knot cannot guarantee contact between all conductor wires and will interrupt the current flow.
