Copped wheat is very suitable if you want to make your own easily digestible and energy-rich feed mixtures for your animals. The carbohydrate-rich grains are ideal for wild birds, domestic birds, exotics as well as for horses, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, chinchillas, degus, chicken, ducks and many more.

The supply of popped wheat ensures a high energy supply during the day. The treated wheat is also ideally suited for heavy-fed or emaciated animals. The healthy source of carbohydrates ensures a rapid increase or regulation of body weight when fed daily.

The wheat, which is otherwise difficult to digest, is puffed using a special pressure and heat process. The flaking process makes it much more digestible and easier to digest than whole wheat grains. Due to the improved digestion, the digestive system is less stressed and the feed is better absorbed.

Feeding advice:

Popped wheat contains a lot of starch and should therefore only be added to the basic feed as a supplement. Depending on the species, a maximum of 15 % of the basic feed can be replaced by wheat. Ensure a balanced supply of nutrients and protein, vitamins and trace elements.

Ingredients:

11.8 % crude protein, 1.8 % crude oils and fats, 2.6 % crude fibre, 2 % crude ash.
