Feeding Instructions:

Garden & wild birds can be offered peanuts year-round. Pets like parakeets and parrots should receive the single feed only in moderation. Rodents like hamsters, guinea pigs, mice, or chinchillas should be fed only in small amounts due to the high energy content. Ideal as a healthy treat for between meals or as a special addition to main feed. Since some animals cannot tolerate peanuts, attention should be paid to any potential peanut allergies.

Note: Peanuts are not suitable food for squirrels, even though they may accept them at feeding stations. Peanuts do not occur in the natural diet of these cute forest dwellers and can cause digestive problems and other harm.
