Leimüller Barley Flakes - Healthy cereal flakes for many animals

Easily digestible barley flakes are a good universal feed for horses, ponies and other farm animals. The long-lasting energy provides the animals with enough strength for the day.

Barley flakes are the basis of every good feed mixture for horses. The popular alternative to classic oats is especially suitable for animals that cannot tolerate oats. Barley flakes are processed much more slowly by the horse's organism than oats and therefore provide your horse with starch and energy over a longer period of time. Due to the long-lasting effect, the grain is wonderfully suitable for temperamental horses, athletes and emaciated horses.

Whole barley grains are not easily digestible by horses, so our barley flakes have been briefly steamed using a special pressure and heat process and then pressed between rollers to form flakes. The flaking process makes the treated barley much more digestible and easier to digest. Due to the improved digestion, the digestive system is less stressed and feed conversion is optimised. Digestive problems, which barley grains trigger in many horses, are significantly reduced with our barley flakes.

Feeding advice:

For a 600 kg large horse with a medium workload, about 1-2 kg of barley per day is optimal. Depending on breed, age, husbandry and type of use, more or less barley flakes can be fed. Ensure a balanced nutrient supply and intake of protein, vitamins and trace elements.

10.9% crude protein, 2.2% crude oils and fats, 4.5% crude fibre, 2.8% crude ash

Storage:

Store the feedstuff hygienically, dry, dark and cool. Protect from direct sunlight.
