AKO Earthing Mix Bentonite 6 kg – reliable grounding for your electric fence

A dependable earth connection is essential for a strong pulse on your electric fence. The AKO Earthing Mix ensures optimal conductivity even in difficult conditions such as dry or sandy soil. The special blend of clay and salt attracts moisture, which is essential for effective grounding.

For an earth rod to conduct current properly, it must always sit in moist soil. The Bentonite mix binds the attracted moisture directly in the ground around the earth rod, keeping it there permanently. This way, any type of earth rod is firmly anchored and continuously supplied with the moisture it needs. Application is simple: mix the compound with 5 litres of water and pour it into a prepared hole – done. One bucket is generally enough for around 3 earth rods, making it ideal when retrofitting multiple grounding points.
