The SnailStop fence tape is the perfect addition to your electric slug fence. It lets you easily extend or repair existing fences, protecting larger beds reliably against slug damage – without any poison.

The fence tape forms an insurmountable barrier for all slug and snail species in the home garden. It consists of two parallel, electrically conductive contact strips. When a slug tries to cross the tape, it creates a connection between the two contact strips, causing a brief, low current to flow through the fence. Thanks to the low fence voltage of 9 volts, the slug is not harmed – it only feels an unpleasant tingling sensation and turns back.
