The high-quality silo sandbag with handle is characterized by an enormously long service life. It is made of silo bags are manufactured under strict quality controls with the most modern production methods in Europe and consist of 100% from hdpe (high density polyethylene). Thanks to a special formulation which is added to the plastic, the silo sandbags are at least 5 years UV stable.

The silo sand bags are optimally filled with round gravel and then sealed with the supplied stainless steel sealing wires.

Silo bags are used for additional sealing of the silo on the sides. They ensure the Stability of the silo cover and the silo protection grid. The elongated shape of the silo sandbags allows an almost continuous barrier.

For mobile silos up to approx. 12 m wide, one row of silo bags is sufficient; for more than 12 m wide, 2 rows of silo sand bags are recommended. The lateral barriers also prevent the penetration of mice and other pests under the silo protection grid. In addition, transverse silo sandbags are recommended at intervals of 5 meters.
