Vole Basket Ungalvanised – Reliable Root Protection for Young Plants

The vole basket ungalvanised from Kerbl is a ready-to-use protective cage that shields young trees, shrubs, roses and bulb plants from root biting caused by voles. Thanks to its ungalvanised design, it is particularly well suited to light, sandy soils where voles are most active.

Simply place the basket together with the root ball into the planting hole. It unfolds in just a few moves without any tools. The extra-thin hexagonal wire mesh is sealed to the side and bottom with a double fold, providing all-round protection for the root ball while still allowing roots to grow through the mesh. After the critical early years, the basket decomposes without leaving any residue and is biologically safe.
