Kerbl Lamb Adoption Spray adOPT – supporting successful lamb adoption
When a ewe needs to accept a foster lamb, scent often decides whether the adoption succeeds. The Kerbl Lamb Adoption Spray adOPT neutralises the natural odour of lamb and ewe, creating better conditions for the acceptance of adopted lambs. The 200 ml aerosol contains a scientifically selected blend of aromatic oils designed specifically for fostering situations on sheep farms.
In practice, you apply the spray directly to the foster lamb as well as to the ewe's head and nose to align the scent the ewe recognises. This helps reduce the ewe's instinctive rejection of an unfamiliar lamb. Use the spray alongside your usual fostering routine and monitor the animals closely during the first hours after application.
