The innovative double laying nest for chickens made of high quality, recycled plastic offers a comfortable egg-laying environment for your chickens that optimally fulfills the natural needs of your chickens.
Thanks to an internal partition, the laying nest can be divided into two nesting compartments. The double nest has a large egg tank with high capacity, which can hold up to 10 eggs per nesting compartment. The lockable inspection hatch allows for easy inspection, while the sloping floor ensures effortless removal of the eggs.
The double laying nest can be easily hung or placed on the wall in the coop, depending on your preferences and needs. A practical perch makes it easy for chickens to get in, while the folding perch securely closes the entrance door at night and keeps unwanted guests out.
The generous dimensions of the nesting compartment offer sufficient space even for large chicken breeds. For safety reasons, the sloping roof prevents the chickens from sitting on the roof.
The double nest for chickens complies with the requirements of the Animal Welfare Ordinance for keeping for commercial purposes, whereby the minimum size for each laying nest is 35 x 25 cm.
The laying nest is ideal for bedding. For litterless use, an optional nesting tray is available (item no. 30071).
