The door opens and closes horizontally and can be set to run on a timer or light sensor, giving your chickens safe daily access to the outdoor run without you having to open or close the coop yourself.
The rack and pinion drive reliably prevents the door from being forced open from outside, keeping predators out. A built-in light interference detection stops the door from triggering accidentally due to reflections from car headlights or lightning. For emergencies, such as a power cut, a manual lever lets you operate the door by hand at any time.
