Charge the battery without a socket: 12 V solar panel for Eurohunt automatic feeders

The 12-volt solar panel recharges the battery of your Eurohunt automatic feeder right at the baiting site. You no longer have to remove the battery, carry it home and hook it up to a charger - the panel takes care of that for the whole season.

The aluminium frame shrugs off rain, frost and sun, and the matching mounting bracket is included: you screw the panel onto the feeder and aim it at the sun. At 360 grams it hardly adds any weight. The operating voltage is what counts - this is the 12-volt version for the automatic feeder PRO 12V (33202) and the Light 12V (33203). It does not fit the Light 6V (33204), which needs the 6-volt panel. The two voltages are not interchangeable.

Questions & answers:

Will this panel fit my automatic feeder?
It fits the Eurohunt PRO 12V (33202) and the Light 12V (33203). Check the rating plate or the manual of your feeder: if it says 6 volts, you need the 6 V version. The two voltages are not interchangeable.

What about the Evolution 2.0?
The Evolution 2.0 has its own solar panel, so this one does not fit. For the Evolution 2.0 use the panel with article number 110087.

Does that mean I never have to charge the battery again?
Normally not. The 12 V panel recharges during operation, so the battery stays charged throughout the season. After long, dark weeks or at a shaded location, recharging can still make sense.

How should I position the panel?
Facing south as far as possible and clear of twigs and branches. Every bit of shade costs power, and in winter the sun stays low - so set the panel a little steeper.
