The 6-volt solar panel keeps the battery of the Eurohunt automatic feeder Light 6V (33204) charged, right where the feeder hangs. The trip to the baiting site just to swap the battery is no longer needed.
The aluminium frame withstands rain, frost and sun, and the mounting bracket is included: screw it on, turn it towards the sun, done. At 360 grams hardly any extra weight hangs on the feeder. The operating voltage is the key point - this is the 6-volt version and it fits the Light 6V only. The 12-volt feeders PRO 12V (33202) and Light 12V (33203) need the matching 12 V panel; the two voltages are not interchangeable.

How do I know that I need the 6 V version?
From the feeder itself: the Eurohunt Light 6V (33204) works with a 6-volt battery. If your feeder says 12 volts, take the 12 V panel - the two voltages are not interchangeable.
Does it fit the PRO or the Evolution 2.0?
No. The PRO 12V and the Light 12V run on 12 volts, and the 12 V panel is available for them. The Evolution 2.0 has its own panel, article number 110087.
Does that mean I never have to charge the battery again?
Normally not. The 6 V panel recharges during operation, so the battery stays charged throughout the season. After long, dark weeks or at a shaded location, recharging can still make sense.
How should I position the panel?
Facing south as far as possible and clear of twigs and branches. Every bit of shade costs power, and in winter the sun stays low - so set the panel a little steeper.
