BUSSE Fly Mask FLY COVER FRANSEN – reliable fly protection for eyes, ears and nose
The BUSSE Fly Mask FLY COVER FRANSEN keeps flies and insects away from your horse, making it ideal for the field, paddock or open stable. Fixed fringes in the nose area protect the sensitive muzzle without getting in the way while your horse eats or drinks.
The eye protection is made from close-meshed netting that gives the eyelashes plenty of room while still offering a high level of protection. The head and jowl areas are made from lightweight yet durable 3D mesh material, while the ear protection uses soft, elastic polyester/polyurethane fabric. Two wide Velcro fastenings at the jowl make the mask quick to put on and take off, and soft fleece-bound edges plus an elastic neck section ensure a comfortable, secure fit.

For the benefit of your horse!
A fly mask has to fit well to be able to help. Otherwise damage may occur. The fit must fit the horse/pony's head. You can make a final adjustment using any setting options on the product. Even with an optimally fitted fly mask, the fit must be checked regularly, conscientiously and professionally and corrected if necessary. If the fly mask slips, vision can be limited or lost. For the horse, a flight animal, this can lead to panic and cause accidents. The ideal seat can be jeopardized by, for example, rubbing in the head area or conspecifics kept in groups. The use of fly masks is not recommended in such individual cases. Check the fur and skin regularly for chafing. Even with optimally fitting fly masks, these can be caused by foreign substances (e.g. stones, insects) between the mask and the horse. The risk of skin irritation increases due to sweat. Clean the mask regularly.
